Clean Energy Connections: The Renewable Thermal Landscape

The New York City Council is committed to geothermal energy, passing a bill late last year that will require the city to identify and implement geothermal heat pumps in city-owned new construction and retrofit projects. This unprecedented bill is the first time a US city has mandated geothermal energy technologies for new projects.
